These terms and conditions are important to help us understand what we expect from each other and to provide you with any necessary information. www.malixpress.com is a site operated by Malixpress. We are registered in Nairobi, Kenya, and our offices are located at Mfangano Street, Nairobi, Kenya. Our email address is info@malixpress.com.

About You

To shop with us, you need to:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have a credit or debit card that we accept.
  • Be authorized to use that credit or debit card (e.g., it is in your name or you have permission to use it).
  • Have a registered personal M-Pesa Account. If you do not have a registered account, you may need permission to use the M-Pesa account you would like to pay with.

Service Availability and Order Placement

Once you place an order, you will receive an email confirming the receipt of your order. Our online sales team will then carry out a standard pre-authorization check. If you are paying with a card, we will quickly confirm the card and the amount. We accept your order once payment has been approved, and the payment on the card has been debited.

When paying through M-Pesa, we cross-check the amount paid on our end together with the payment code that is generated. The code will also be printed and displayed on your email receipt.

Making Orders through the Website

When you make an order through the website and are not satisfied with the item you ordered, you may cancel your order within 24 hours. However, please note that you cannot change your order. You will need to cancel your order, return the original items (if delivered), and then place a new order for a different item.

All orders are subject to availability and confirmation of the order price. If there is an issue with an order, we will get in touch with you.

When making an order, please ensure that all the details you provide to us are true and accurate.

Prices and Product Descriptions

From time to time, our team may make mistakes in adding a price or describing a product or promotion on the website. We do our best to ensure accuracy, but errors may occur. If we discover an error for any goods you have ordered, our customer care team will reach out to you as soon as possible and give you the option to confirm the order at the correct price or cancel it. If we realize the mistake after you have already purchased the item, we will do our best to contact you, inform you of the error, and offer you a credit note or gift voucher for the excess amount.

Delivery

Once you place an order on the website, you can choose from various delivery options, including estimated delivery times and dates based on your address. These options include picking up from our stores, home delivery, or work delivery. Our online team and riders work hard to ensure the timely delivery of all orders, but delays may occur. We will do our best to keep you updated on the location of your parcel and send emails regarding the status of your order, allowing you to track your parcel’s progress. Our Returns Policy

We understand that sometimes you may purchase something that doesn’t work for you. As long as an item is still in its original condition, we accept returns, subject to the following rules:

  • All returned items should be accompanied by the original receipt, and the date and amount of purchase must be validated in our system.
  • Upon return of the defective item(s), you are allowed to exchange the item for the same item in the same or different colour.
  • Alternatively, you are entitled to a refund of the same amount as the previously purchased item. You will receive an instant refund upon acceptance of the return. Money back guaranteed. Please refer to our Returns Policy for more details.

Promo Codes

We may run promotions from time to time that result in discounts or perks. Please remember that it is your responsibility to enter the code at the checkout process for it to be applicable.

We would like to remind you about a couple of things regarding promo codes:

  • Each promo code has its own terms and conditions, which will be communicated when the promo code is issued to you. This information includes when to use it, which products it is applicable to, and whether it is for single or multiple uses, among other details.
  • If you are given a code exclusively for your use, please keep it private. If we discover that you have shared the code and it is being used by multiple people, we will have to cancel the promo code and may suspend your account.

Gift Vouchers

You may want to gift your friends or family members with a gift voucher, or you may be the lucky recipient of a Malixpress Voucher (Yay!). Please visit the gift voucher page to see how and when the vouchers can be used. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

  • The gift vouchers are valid for 2 months from the date of purchase, so please use them before they expire. Our customer care team will remind you to use the voucher before it expires.
  • If you buy a digital gift voucher for someone, please ensure you enter their correct email address. If you provide the wrong email address, the voucher might be emailed to someone else, who may end up using it. In such cases, there is not much we can do.

Intellectual Property Rights

Malixpress owns the intellectual property used on its website and across various digital platforms. These rights are protected and reserved. Please note that as our client, you are allowed to store, print, and display our content for personal use. However, using our content for commercial purposes is not allowed without permission. Engaging in any sort of trading using our logo is also not allowed.
